The Flames continue to get it done! They picked up another big two points last night, beating the Avalanche 3-2. Lance Bouma scored the winning goal midway through the 3rd on a great deflection of a point shot from T.J. Brodie. Brodie showed why just putting the puck on net is a good idea with traffic in front. This win is another big step in the right direction for the Flames who are looking to make the playoffs for the first time since 2009. To say it will be a crazy race to the finish will be an understatement. However, if the Flames keep up their solid play, we should hopefully have playoff hockey come April!
