Former Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers enforcer André Deveaux is being made to pay for a vicious attack he committed last week. His contract has been terminated by Rogle BK of Sweden’s second-tier professional league after a video of him blindsiding an unsuspecting opponent during the warmups of a game between Rogle and VIK Vasteras HK. He also issued an apology to the player he assaulted. Deveaux rushed the player from behind and hacks his ankles before cracking him in the back of the head with his stick.
