(VIDEO): Lightning star Steven Stamkos drops the gloves with Brad Marchand!

One thing you don't see everyday is Lightning superstar Steven Stamkos in a fight. Let alone one with Bruins super-pest Brad Marchand. But that's what just went down in this afternoon's game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins. Marchand delivered a hard hit on Stamkos's teammate Valtteri Filppula. After that, Stamkos had about enough of Marchand and followed him around the ice looking for a fight. The fight doesn't last very long, but this was more about being a captain and a leader than beating the piss out of somebody. Sometimes a captain just has to stand up for his teammates and that's exactly what Stamkos did.
