The story of today's afternoon game between the Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins has been a lack of discipline from the Pens'. And who's right in the middle of it? You guessed it, Steve Downie. Pittsburgh Penguins forward Steve Downie was up to his old tricks on Sunday. Downie was given a 10-minute misconduct midway through the first period for knocking linesman Pierre Racicot to the ice after attempting to join a scrum. Although not intention, it was a reckless play. Downie became the first Penguins player to go over 200 penalty minutes in a single season since Rick Tocchet and Ulf Samuelsson did it in 1992-93. It's hard to say whether being in the same company as Samuelsson is a good thing or a bad thing.
